Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time
So the final installment of the Wheel of Time was published in 2013, making that novel eligible for an award this year. However, as the series is one story, told in installments over several decades, it seems possible to nominate the entire WoT series this year. The relevant clause in the WSFS constitution is here:
3.2.6: Works appearing in a series are eligible as individual works, but the series as a whole is not eligible. However, a work appearing in a number of parts shall be eligible for the year of the final part.
If my interpretation of this rule is correct, the entire series is now eligible. So when I fill out my nominating ballot this year, that's how I will do so. If any one following this group was considering nominating A Memory of Light for a Hugo, I recommend nominating the series as a whole.
